strategic management is a way of helping an organization to face the environmental changes and solving its most important problems by identifying strengths and weaknesses and the best use of opportunities and situations to overcome those weaknesses and threats that endanger the existence of the organization. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the application of the concept of "standard" and "standardization" in strategic document.
To answer the research questions, first the structure and components of the organization strategic document were assessed and then the term "standardization" as well as all synonyms having similar connotations were presented. Afterwards, a detailed study of strategic document was done in order to determine the distribution method and frequency of the counted "standardization" concept, and by analyzing research findings, the importance of standardization process in police missions was determined. Research showed that the terms "standard" and "standardization" have been used more than 16 times in different parts of the strategic document, particularly in the formulation of strategic objectives.
Terms, "institutionalization" "uniformity" and "integration" have been used about 16 times as three synonyms for the concept of standardization.
High frequency of the term in different parts of the strategic document and its successive usage in strategic objectives and executive strategies showed the importance of standard position and standardization process of the activities within the strategic planning system and Macro policies of the organization
