Clothing is always recognized as one of the basic needs of human being. In military and Police forces, clothing has some special functions in addition to its own philosophy (body cover). As reported by the headquarters of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, armed forces are required to supply and distribute personnel’s clothing. In Police, in accordance with the existing measures and guidelines, this mission has been delegated to logistics. Clothing distribution in Police is done by policy-making and planning of Central Logistics Directorate as well as by the Department of Logistics. The function of clothing distribution system is of major importance since it is directly related to each of the staff member. The present research aims to evaluate the distribution system performance of each of Police staff’s clothing and to answer the main question that at which level of performance it is evaluated. This has been applied with a pragmatic, descriptive, and surveying method. At first, the actuarial population of 115 people was selected as a whole, consisting of central managers and experts as well as subsidiaries of Police. Then, under thorough evaluations, the performance valuation model of balanced scoreboard was selected as the basic model of the research. Based on four dimensions including customer, finance, internal process, growth and acquisition, components and indices were extracted and questioned by reliable sources and interviews with experts. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire was measured using common methods, experts’ scores and SPSS-16 application. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, mode, standard variation) and inferential (T test) methods, which indicate undesirable performance of distribution system of Police employees’ clothing from the perspective of customers with an average of 2.8 using Lecret method that most of its reasons refer to low satisfaction of the staff and lack of response of the system. Also, concerning internal processes, the calculated mean is 3.004 which is considered as an undesirable system performance that the principal reason refers to some processes being parallel and the existence of redundant processes in the system. Furthermore, the performance of the system was evaluated desirable from the perspective of finance, growth, and acquisition in order of 4, 3 and 3.217 averages.
